Bob and Edna Brubaker announce the engagement of their son Bobby Brubaker, all of Lawrence, to Lori Haas, La Crosse.
The future bride is the daughter of Maurice and Debbie Haas, La Crosse. She is a 2004 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and a 2008 graduate of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina. She earned an elementary education degree and is a fourth-grade teacher at Bishop Elementary School in Topeka.
The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 2008 graduate of Kansas Wesleyan. He earned a degree with dual majors in criminal justice and sociology and is a dairy manager at Hy-Vee in Lawrence.
The couple plan a June 13, 2009, wedding at St. Michael Church in La Crosse.
