Obama is a liar. Why would I go to hear a liar? There are those in my company that lie and I do not go see them! Get the bum out of our state!

Charles L Bloss Jr 3 years ago

I wouldn't walk across the street to see him.

beatrice 3 years ago

Well ... actually it will be five more years. He still has to get through this next year before starting his second term.

I will go see him when he speak in one of the fifty-first through fifty-seventh states.

I wonder how many of you who so easily call the President of the United States horrible names also have support our troops stickers on your cars. I am a PROUD VETERAN who honors the Office of the Presidency no matter WHO is serving as the Commander in Chief. I HATED the MAN who was in office during my enlistment, but I would never in a million years have disrespected the Office he filled. When you insult the Presidency you are slapping Veterans like me in the face...please think about it.

We know that we salute the rank, not the man. I haven't seen any coments above yours that disrespect the office, only the man.

Well, I’m a vet also, but I see little justification in the shop worn comment that “we salute the rank and not the man.” How many vets do you know who would ever even consider greeting, oh say, a Navy Captain or an Army Colonial with a salute and a hearty “hello sir jack-a**.” So when it comes to just being rude, crude or mad as heck and you cannot think of anything that actually contributes to a debate or ideas, please give it a rest. A little bit of R & R would be nice for all of us. Can’t you see it when the newspaper plants just such a question to set you off. It’s like putting an nickle in an old juke box and out comes the same old tune that helps them sell papers.

Colonel is what was ment. Although it could have been a colonial colonel.

billbodiggens 3 years ago

I also ment nickel rather than nickle. I'm a vet, I have the right to make a mistake. Ho Ho

If a four-star general was stealing my money, I'd call him a thief. I haven't been subject to the UCMJ for 20+ years.

billbodiggens 3 years ago

Well, there you have it. You're special. So much for saluting the rank.

Liberty275 3 years ago

The government, including the military, are my employees now. Why would I salute an employee?

RoeDapple 3 years ago

Couldn't have said it better oldvet, thanks! And thank you both for your service.

While people agreed that she has the right, how many called those comments childish and stupid? Besides, is your goal really to live up to the rhetorical capabilities of a high schooler? Sad.

Man. I bet you all are really hurting Obama's feelings.

Or at least you might be if only your opinions carried even a shred of significance to anyone, anywhere.

And your opinions might be taken seriously for a moment if only they ever amounted to more than adolescent namecalling.

But, I suppose as long as you continue to be relentlessly negative in your tone, while remaining averse to factual data, constructive dialog, and the blatant shortcomings and inconsistencies of the strictly anti-Obama political ideology, then your opinions will forever remain childish and inconsequential.

He has the #666 on him somewhere

ssteve1 3 years ago

I'm headed to Texas to see if he mentions Kansas, or hope, or change. Oooo. That's it! He should talk about hope and change. What a great slogan; Hope and Change.

Whichever hand you're talking to.
