How about another answer, like, I don't get drunk on New Years Eve by not drinking or only having one drink? Then I could vote.

Right on, caboose - if we don't drink and get stupid and lose control of ourselves, then we have no need for Tipsy Taxis!

That's the response that I was looking to answer as well. Don't drink at all, so there is no way i'm going to be on the road when everyone that is out has probably done so.

Or another response, like "I don't remember."

When I lived in Brazil there was a bar called 'drunk delivery,' in which they had designated drivers drive you home if you had a few too many. The driver would take you in your car and a motorcyclists would follow. After theyd done their delivery, the motorcyclist would take the driver back. The bar was a success....

I vote for the I don't get drunk one too.

I also vote for "I don't get drunk" so, there really needs to be someone over the age of twenty making up these poll questions.

I vote for "I stay home and may or may not have a bit too much bubbly."

And this, folks, is why everyone else has to be responsible for themselves IN ADDITION to people like this who can't or won't be responsible for themselves.

That's it.

Babboy, that was my point also. It seems the people asking the questions are not very good at seeing beyone their own experiences, consequently they don't have the abilitiy to ask questions with choices other than the most simplistic. ie; what is your favorite pair of bug eyed suglasses from the gap??

Beyond

No, but I drove for it once years ago when the cab company was A-1 City Cab. It was a hoot!
kernal 2 years, 4 months ago
Had to take a cab one year because the "designated" driver undesignated himself about 11pm New Year's Eve. At least he paid for the cab to drop everyone else off before he went home.
kernal 2 years, 4 months ago
The comments indicate everyone thinks you have to be drunk to take a cab. Not so. Even one drink can make some people at risk for flunking the drunk test. Just saying.

Can't drink, that's how Fox News catches you!

what if you stayed home and did not drink on new years eve and a drunk driver crashed into your house ?the tipsy taxi is a great idea regardless of your consumption or new years partying
cheeseburger 2 years, 4 months ago
Only because there are those who will not be responsible for themselves.
