I can't imagine spending Christmas Day at the movies!

Not all day at the movies, but in the evening, when you need a change of scenery, to get the kids and their cousins out of the house, so you can talk to your relatives in peace, and play with all the stuff you got your kids for Christmas!

I am going to see Transporter 3 with my daughter. Jason Statham is one of my favorite actors and I truly enjoyed the first two of these movies. The movies listed are way too mushy and I am a 63 year old grandmother who still thinks that Freddie is actually pretty cool. He's never gone after a senior citizen yet.

Nothing says "Christmas" like a Frank Miller flick."The Spirit" all the way.

Okay, thanks to blue73harley and radiohawk for reminding me of more movies I want to see. It makes me mad too when I see trailers for movies that look so good and then find out about the selected cities. Is that because they "select" cities to see how those people like them, and if they pass muster they go around the country? I am looking forward to The Spirit. It looks like it is going to be a lot like Sin City, if you have saw that one. Clint Eastwood one more time. What is it with him and Bruce Willis, they are still so good, aging so well.

Going 'to the show' the day after Christmas in Overland Park has been our family tradition since the '70s!

We love to go to the movies on Christmas Day in the evening or even the latest show playing. It has become somewhat of a tradition and a great way to spend more time together before the hectic schedules begin again--usually the day after Christmas.

"Valkyrie", of course. :-) "The Spirit" should be good, too.

What? No Triple X choices? What kind of poll is this? How about Santa does Santa Monica? Or The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttocks? What about Quantum of Sem@n. Okay...Just kidding. Taking bets to see how long till this post is removed. I've never had one removed before. Should be interesting. LOL.

Planning to see a movie that opens Christmas Day does not mean you will go on Christmas to see it. Actually there are two movies I want to see. But Valkyrie is the priority. Still I will have to consider whether at the cost of tickets now to see more than one, and wait for the other on DVD.

Babboy, Southwind is open in the afternoon for matinees. If you are sixty or over you can get in for $5.75. Otherwise it is $9.00 for an adult ticket in the evening. Just think, now that I am sixty I can afford to go to the movie. Bladerunner did you see Pineapple Express or Tropic Thunder? Those are pretty good. You could rent or buy to watch on Christmas. Don't worry, your post will stand the test of time.
