Semi-satisfied. Hillary Clinton has NO business as secretary of state. No experience and her personality isnot well suited to things diplomatic.I question Janet Napolitano. And the fact that Sebelius was under serious consideration is disturbing.

Waaaah! I'm a Republican. My president is revealed to be an incompetent, eight-year loser. So, when a brilliant man wins, and when he has the wisdom to fill his cabinet with very wise people, they're called "insiders." Laughing has never been easier. With these attitudes, that's all you can do. Now, for those of you who are acting like children: go sit in the corner and think about what you did. When you're grown up, you can come out. Whine, Baby, Whine!

Trobs enjoy preaching from your bar stool because you clearly do not how things work in the real world. Preaching is all you will get to do. If Obama picked outsiders and to everyone to go hell he would have zero affectiveness. Reticent irreverent, the guy has not even been sworn in, I think your BIAS is obvious. Also, an internet poll has no reliability and a poll about satisfaction of cabinet not fully picked while he president elect? Not very tell tale about anything. Further, this is flipping Kansas. 55 percent of the voters in Kansas did not vote for him with many of that same voting pool wondering if Obama is terrorist. Clue in.Jonas:I knew what you meant. You meant that many on the poll would vote no on an Obama issue even Obama cured Cancer, fixed the economy, and installed world peace.

jonas, Just sounded like you were wanting a radio button choice like that. (why do they call them "radio buttons"? I'm not a big fan of pre-sets. I think they are somewhat limiting)You may be "reasonably" satisfied, but at one point this afternoon, 55% of poll respondents were not satisfied. Just wondering if there is a whole spectrum of people that may be really disappointed if Mr. Obama does not live up to their expectations.

R-I: I merely thought others might have a use for it. I'm reasonably satisfied so far.

i'd like to see any of y'all do the job that he is preparing to do. i'd like to see any of y'all make some of the decision that he has to make. Dem/rep. Someone was willing is to take over and try to fix a mess and y'all still complaining. y'll need to start saying positive things and stop weighing his name down with negative talk. Give the man a chance..

People like me huh?I believe in absolute freedom for the individual in this country. I believe our government is too large, too intrusive and dragging us into a debt we may never be able to repay. When a candidate runs on a campaign of change, I expect him/her to actually bring that change. Barack promised to use public funding, then back pedaled when he realized how much money he was making with the internet and it's wonderful anonymity. Same can be said for his policies. He wants to balance the budget, decrease middle class taxes and have massive spending increases. Sounds like the typical Washington way. Why find an actual solution when you can throw money at it. Who am I? I am an angry citizen that is sick and tired of candidates doing what they can to earn votes then fall back on promises. Even the night of the election Obama started trying to lower expectations. Jimmy Carter must have called him before the count was finalized. Qualifications mean NOTHING. Let me say it again. Just because you went to Harvard, you sat in a cushy government job for 10 years and you are friends with the most powerful man in the world, that does not even begin to prepare you for suddenly being a key player with the president. Nothing can prepare anyone for that. Honestly, I'd rather have people with a realistic grasp on the country in charge. The country is vastly different then Washington sees it the vast majority of the time.

Reward your foes & punish your supporters?"If John Kerry was hoping to be part of President-elect Barack Obama's Cabinet, he'll almost certainly have to settle for the consolation prize: a powerful chairmanship in the U.S. Senate. The Massachusetts senator, who endorsed Obama early in the presidential campaign, was left out of the mix Monday when the president-elect announced his national security team, giving shape to two-thirds of his cabinet."http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2008/12/02/obamas-cabinet-selections-leave-kerry-cold/

Trobs, if he appointed a bunch of Washington outsiders you'd be complaining that none of them were qualified. People like you are never happy.

0

Trobs 5 years, 4 months ago

Change you can believe in! So he appoints a bunch of "Washington Insiders"Win. Absolute win.
