Eric Whitacre is a bit of a rock star in the world of band and choral conducting these days. This weekend, he'll be in Lawrence to work with young musicians at Lawrence High School, Free State High School and Kansas University, in preparation for a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lied Center. In this week's Pulse Podcast, Free State choir teacher Hilary Morton and students Raquel Gonzalez and Sarah Robinson talk about why Whitacre is so popular.
