Organized pandemonium.
That's what you might call the 3 minute, 11-second edition of the "Ed Sullivan Show" that's included in the musical "Plaid Tidings."
The four men on stage play the roles of the Vienna Boys Choir, Rockettes, Alvin and the Chipmunks and Arabian horses, among other performers.
It's one of many highlights in the Christmas-themed sequel to "Forever Plaid." The musical opens tonight at the Lawrence Community Theatre.
In this week's Pulse Podcast, director Mary Doveton and cast members talk about the tight harmonies that are found throughout the show, as well as a funk version of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas."
