There are a lot of string quartets in the world, and a lot of ways of measuring their success.
If you're judging by Grammy Awards, the <a href="http://www.emersonquartet.com/">Emerson String Quartet</a> is right up there - the group has eight.
The quartet comes to the Lied Center for a show at 7:30 tonight.
In this week's Pulse Podcast, hear violinist and founding member Eugene Drucker talk about the history of his group, how it stands out from the crowd and exactly what those Grammys mean.
Also, hear about some of the other events going on in Lawrence this weekend in our weekly Best Bets feature.
