A slight chance of morning storms will give way to a very muggy Friday. The humidity, combined with sufficient twist in the atmosphere, and a front, will spark numerous thunderstorms by late afternoon across the area. Before the storms, highs will touch 80 degrees. South winds at 10-20 mph will blow in the muggy air. Some storms will be severe due to the set of ingredients in place. Heavy rainfall is also out not of the question.
