If this city spends ONE more cent on those empty buses, my head is going to explode.

I'll use the buses for free Wi-Fi. Here's the thing that I hate about the T though. I just moved and I lived on a KU bus route. All I had to do was get to the bus half an hour before class to make it on time, about a 20 minute ride and another 5 minutes of walking across campus. Now I live away from the KU buses, but on a T route. I will have to get on the T almost 2 hours before class to make it on time. Additionally, KU buses generally come every 15-20 minutes, maybe a half an hour at the longest. The T only comes every 40 minutes to 1 hour. It's actually faster to walk or ride a bike than to take the T. At the point that it takes longer than walking, I think that mass transit has defeated itself. Lawrence should scrap the T, I know that hippies love mass transit, but in this town it doesn't work.
