In today's news: Lariviere's appointment to KU Hospital board questioned (see the Journal-World story); Day four of Jason Rose trial means day two of interrogation videotape; Bill Lynch and Midwestern Icons play at Liberty Hall tonight; Kansas University baseball plays Kansas State in three game set starting today. In weather, we finally get a glimpse of the sun today after an early chance of rain. The high today will top out at 79 degrees with a South wind 5-15 mph, gusting up to 20. Look for thunderstorms toward the evening with the low dropping to 65 degrees tonight with a gusty South wind 15-25 mph.

I really don't like the design of this site. I have a number of issues, especially with the front page. You shouldn't have to scroll down to find links on the index page. If I knew of a location to write to the editor about the crappy redesign, I would; but why bother since they won't listen anyway. The LJWorld has taken a step backwards in my opinion. Having a pretty web site doesn't mean it's functional.

This is what I get.....

and I still don't like it: Too wide, Too pale, Too buggy, No links to ALL letters to the editor - you have to flop back and forth, ah why even try........
