Clean up begins Monday after last night's damaging hailstorm. Attorney's for the man accused of setting the deadly fire at the Boardwalk Apartments are seeking to have the case dismissed, calling the charges against their client unconstitutional. A settlement agreement between the city of Lawrence and Wal-mart gets approval in court Monday. Building a new entrance for a local high school becomes a point of contention for Lawrence School Board members. Lawrence Police are still trying to get to the bottom of what caused a massive brawl to break out at a downtown Lawrence nightclub. The World Company, which owns and operates 6News, has started printing the Lawrence Journal-World with renewable energy.
