Zoe and Tigress are the best of friends. They've settled in since Tigress joined the family three months ago. They peacefully co-reside with Gary and Jan Faimon, of Perry.
Max, a 5-year-old Bengal cat, goes by the nickname "Meow-Meow." He belongs to Susan Bragg, formerly of Lawrence, who now lives in Colorado. Max also is the "grandcat" of Marty Bragg, of Lawrence.
Maggie, a 2-year-old Sheltie/Gordon setter mix, will be a pirate for Halloween. She was adopted four months ago from the Topeka Helping Hands Humane Society by Benjamin and Stephanie Bammes, of Lawrence.
Heinz, an English bulldog, is dressed up for a summer barbecue. He belongs to Ben and Michelle Andrews, of Lawrence.
Boxers Duffy and Annie snooze on the sofa. They belong to Craig Tucker and Judy Northway, of Lawrence.
Toby, a basset hound, wishes his owners would hit the snooze button. He belongs to Wayne Hunsinger and Barbara Hunsinger, and Mel Boeschen, of Lawrence.
