A group of first- through third-graders from Raintree Montessori School marched Thursday through downtown Lawrence to raise awareness of climate change. The students held signs with various environmentally minded slogans, and at least one sign read “We stand with Belgium,” referencing recent youth demonstrations in that country demanding action against climate change.
