Young animal lovers meet some of the pets located at Pet World’s temporary store and take a trip to Pet World’s Nature Preserve during camp on Thursday, June 25, a month after a fire broke out in the former Pet World location that killed many of the animals in the store.

Along the trail near base camp is the grave of various animals that died in the Pet World fire on May 25. Among the animals buried there are Fletcher the store parrot, a kitten named Mindy, Queen Latifah the crested gecko, Mr. Whiskers the catfish, Haiku the rat snake and various breeder snakes.
