Friends & Neighbors for October 2012
Jana Dawson, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at CornerBank and Leadership Lawrence alumna, received the Leadership Lawrence Distinguished Alumni Award at the organization’s alumni luncheon Sept. 27. Dawson was selected for her extensive work in the community. She serves as chairwoman of the Leadership Lawrence advisory board, and on the Boys and Girls Club board of directors and City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation advisory board. She received the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce’s Wally Galluzzi Volunteer Award in 2008. Al Hack, of CEK Insurance, presented the award to Dawson. Alice C. Hunt, of Lawrence, submitted the photo.
