From left, Curt Shontz, Michelle Chronister and Stephen Chronister, DDS, hold up a check for $7,987 made out to Just Food of Douglas County. Donations were collected from the fourth annual Rev It Up! Hot Rod Hullabaloo on Aug. 11 in South Park. The money raised will provide for nearly 10,000 meals for the undernourished in Douglas County. The show drew more than 300 hot rods, custom cars, classic cars, and motorcycles. Nearly 800 people attended the event, which featured live bands and an Elvis impersonation contest. Curt Shontz, of Lawrence, submitted the photo.
