Three fallen Lawrence police officers and a firefighter were honored Friday, May 6, 2011, as part of Kansas Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Day.

The Lawrence police honor guard lay a wreath at the grave of Officer Wilson Pringle, who was killed in the line of duty in 1909. Three fallen police officers and a firefighter were honored Friday, May 6, 2011, with a wreath-laying ceremony at each one's gravesite. The event was in observance of Kansas Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Day.
