Jan. 31 - Feb. 1 winter storm

A young woman makes a leap off a large snow pile in the middle of Massachusetts Street Wednesday Feb. 2, 2011. After Tuesday's 8 inches of snow, city crews cleared the streets and moved excess snow to the middle of the lanes. City crews will later come through and haul away that snow.

"Your are correct those, this town is stupid." I will take your word for it...

Normally I agree about using the crosswalk, but the snow pile at the intersection looks about twice as high. She looks to have chosen a low spot in the drift to cross.

Looks like she is in the crosswalk, if the surface of the street near her lovely front foot is any indication. I'm guessing it's the midblock crossing in the 900 block. As Jack notes and you confirm, nobody seems to respect or pay attention. Meanwhile, the faux indignation directed at pedestrians remains one of the preferred means of diverting attention from the real dangers out there.

Try English and stop acting like a poor downtrodden motorist.

I don't understand why they plowed the snow into the middle of the street. Have a street parking ban in certain areas (where other parking is available) and plow the snow from the street to the side.

They plow it into the middle and then come back with a loader and dump truck to haul it off.

Still not certain her age is much greater than the temperature outside however.

If elected, Sven Alstrom will ban cute girls from jumping snow. We can't win with Sven!

The other night my husband and I were downtown, and a little boy, maybe 4 was running up and down each pile of snow scooped up around the trees. He yelled "This is sooo awesome." Made me feel young again.

Better get used to comments like that then. Sis is/will be a hottie!

As Tibbs and stinker said, you'd better get used to it.

And depending on how much older you are, you'd better get used to your friends using a visit to you as an excuse for coming over to check out lil' sis.

Glad to see comments on an image. I think this one of Tyrel Reed is great one and should go into the AFH gallery. At least, I bet it will be in HCBS's office.

I could go on for hours!

Besides, I believe I work with this pretty young thing. If so, she's old enough.

I can't get a yeah or nay from her.

If it is her, she won't admit to it because that would mean she's busted. We worked that day if we could get into work, and she wasn't here. Work is only about four blocks from where the picture was snapped.

It would also be more than a little bit awkward. He cute girl I work with, mind if I take your picture?

Why yes I do DOB. ;-)
