Lawrence Pilot Club member, Joan VanNice, received flowers from club president, Tricia Boyd at their Oct. 11 meeting at Conroy’s Pub. VanNice was voted the PIF (Pilot International Foundation) Sweetheart 2010 by fellow members for her involvement with the Lawrence Sheriff’s Department in starting Project Lifesaver in Lawrence.
