Kansas football coaches throughout the years

The Jayhawks have been on the gridiron since 1890. Here are a few of the men who have led the team.

From left to right: Parke Davis, football statistic recorder and former football coach at Lafayette, Princeton and Wisconsin, and Fielding Yost, Michigan Coach, who played under Davis in 1896, recalled the old days at the eleventh annual meeting of the American Football Coaches Association at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City on Dec. 29, 1931. Yost coached KU in 1899, leading the team to a perfect 10-0 record.
