Taking it to the next level: The Next Level Knights won the USSSA 14U AAA World Series championship during the competition held July 11-16 in Omaha, Neb. Trent Reinardy, of Lawrence, left, batted .500 in the tournament, and Ben Brungardt of Baldwin City, right, batted .385. The Knights went undefeated in the tournament. Scott Reinardy, of Lawrence, center, was head coach/manager for the Knights during the tournament. The Knights also finished first in their division of 14U AAA/Major Blue Valley Recreation Gold Glove League. Cindy Reinardy submitted the photo.
