Children play with Taylor Maturo’s hair at Camp Hope, a yearly retreat where children with AIDS could go and not worry about their disease. One time after the kids had played with her hair, Maturo showered, and coins and beads the children had put there started falling out of her hair.
Maturo is shown with kids at Camp Hope, a yearly camp for children infected with AIDS.
Taylor Maturo holds Maxime, a toddler who she says became part of her family while she was in Togo.
