KU men's basketball coach Bill Self responds to questions during a press conference where Sean Lester, an associate athletics director, was introduced Tuesday as the interim athletics director at KU. In a statement on the Kansas University website Tuesday, Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little and Athletic Director Lew Perkins announced that Perkins will retire, effective immediately.
