Rainy weather showed up Thursday, Sept, 2, 2010, during a pep rally block party on Mass Street. Dressed for the event and the changing weather, Geraldine and Jerry Thomas of Lawrence showed up for their support for KU football.

The main event was a pep rally block party on Mass Street, hosted by Kansas Athletics, The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Lawrence Inc.

The event was part of a pep rally in downtown Lawrence hosted by Kansas Athletics, the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Lawrence Inc.
