Joe Goebel, son of Paul and Beni Goebel of Lawrence, recently returned from a summer working at the Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, N.M. This was his third summer on staff at the Commissary. The Commissary provides food for the staffed camps and 22,000 Scouts that hike the Ranch each year. He is a junior at Washburn University majoring in history and education.
