Friends and Neighbors, June 2010

Tuckwin is holding a baby’s T-shirt she presented to Raquel shortly after her birth on Nov. 17, 1991, as shown in this Nov. 20, 1991, edition of the Lawrence Journal-World when she was a kindergarten teacher at Woodlawn School. The T-shirt, which says “Class of 2010” and features the Lawrence Public Schools logo, was given to all babies born at Lawrence Memorial Hospital during that week as a part of American Education Week.
