Audrey and John Studdard, Lawrence, danced to the music of the Moonlight Serenade Orchestra on Nov. 15 at the Dole Institute of Politics’ Tribute to Veterans USO-Style. More than 200 Lawrence area veterans and friends gathered for the evening of salutes, remembrance and camaraderie.
Members of the Lawrence American Legion’s Dorsey-Liberty Post No. 14 opened the Tribute to Veterans USO-Style program on Nov. 15 at the Dole Institute of Politics at Kansas University. Leading with the colors is Jerry Hanson, followed by Ed Mount and Ernie Richardson, all of Lawrence.
