Father and daughter Josh Smith and Alexis Smith, 8, hit the finish line together during the 2010 Kansas Half Marathon event in Lawrence. Grade school students can sign up for a free "One Mile At A Time" marathon program that kicks off Sunday at the Clinton Parkway Hy-Vee store in Lawrence. The goal is to run a marathon between Sunday and the 2012 Kansas Half Marathon, which is April 22. Students who reach the goal will be recognized during the April event.
