South Dakota bison roundup

Officials from the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve are in South Dakota this week watching as a herd of wild bison is gathered for them to bring back to Kansas.

The Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve will release the 13 bison brought back from South Dakota in an effort to help establish the first step in creating an eventual herd of about 100 bison that will roam parts of the 11,000-acre facility.
