South Dakota bison roundup
Officials from the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve are in South Dakota this week watching as a herd of wild bison is gathered for them to bring back to Kansas.
After rain showers moved through the area Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, a rainbow filled the sky behind a herd of buffalo as they waited in a holding pasture during the 2009 bison roundup at Wind Cave National Park north of Hot Springs, SD.
