Kansas Underground Salt Museum

Old boxes of explosives — long since emptied — are stacked in the Kansas Underground Salt Museum in Hutchinson. Such boxes were used to close up a former ventilation shaft, an example of the craftiness with which mine workers reuse materials taken down into the mine.
