Lawrence Humane Society takes in dogs from Hutchinson, Pratt June 18, 2009

Midge Grinstead, executive director of the Lawrence Humane Society, holds a Shih Tzu that came into the Lawrence and Douglas County Humane Society Thursday along with 23 other dogs from Hutchinson and Pratt.
Humane Society employee Amanda Baldwin grabs a runaway black lab puppy as she makes her rounds Thursday. This lab is one of a group of 24 dogs that came to the Lawrence Humane Society from the Hutchinson and Pratt Humane Societies.
