Behind the Lens - Photographer Not Camera

It is the photographer, not the camera, that makes a photograph interesting. Using a portable point-and-shoot camera a photographer can still incorporate a variety of visual techniques to enhance their images.

Before guests arrived for dinner a grabbed a point-and-shoot camera, stood on a chair and took this photograph. The tablecloth flowers and silverware made an interesting composition. The view straight down also gives a different perspective.
