Behind the Lens - Photographer Not Camera

It is the photographer, not the camera, that makes a photograph interesting. Using a portable point-and-shoot camera a photographer can still incorporate a variety of visual techniques to enhance their images.

Backing off from this church in New Mexico enabled me to frame the scene through an entrance gate in the foreground. This framing technique used with a simple point-and-shoot camera, adds depth and scale to the photograph.
