Behind the Lens - Photographer Not Camera

It is the photographer, not the camera, that makes a photograph interesting. Using a portable point-and-shoot camera a photographer can still incorporate a variety of visual techniques to enhance their images.

A late evening shot with a long exposure required a small tripod. I framed this old fort through some overhanging leaves of a nearby tree to direct the views eye to the building and sky in the distance.
