A 15-foot cedar tree has been trimmed at the Territorial Capital Museum in Lecompton, in preparation for the annual Lecompton Vespers. Deb Powell, top, gets help adding tinsel to the tree from Darlene Paslay. The event is set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the museum and will feature the Lecompton Community Choir, the Perry-Lecompton High School Choir, the bell choir of the First United Methodist Church of Topeka, vocal soloists and a piano and organ duet.
