Sexual assaults and children

Pam Lawrence, with GaDuGi SafeCenter, talks about child safety to a class of third-graders at Cordley School. GaDuGi, the District Attorney’s Office and the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services have advocated for a child safety center that would provide a one-stop shop for abused or neglected children and their families. Families must now go several places, including out of town, if a child has been a victim of a sexual assault.
