National Guard to Louisiana September 3, 2008
Sixty-five National Guardsman from Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion, 137th Infantry (2-137th) based in Lawrence, departed for Louisiana at 5 a.m. early Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, to help with cleanup efforts along the Gulf Coast in response to Hurricane Gustav.
