"Bull's-Eye" FSHS coach Mike Hill likes the way senior Alex Hardman keeps his eye on the target and always seems to hit it. "I'm not sure how he does it," Hill said. "But he always hits his spots."
"Hollywood" Saddled with the responsibility of life in the spotlight, senior southpaw Caleb Gress has flashed his competitive fire and held down the Firebirds' No. 1 position all season.
"The Brain" A true thinking-man's pitcher, senior Brad Witmer succeeds with location. "He does as well with what he's got as any kid we have," Free State coach Mike Hill said.
"The closer" Likely a No. 1 starter on most staffs around the state, sophomore Ryan Scott has been solid out of the bullpen as the Firebirds' stopper.
