Athletes practicing for the Ironman 70.3 Kansas wade into chilly water Sunday at Clinton Lake. The June 15 competition will be the first of the Ironman series to be conducted in Kansas and is expected to bring up to 1,500 athletes from 46 states and four countries to the Lawrence area.
