On June 12, 2008 the cloud tops from the storms out west came over Lawrence and I spotted the mammatus clouds and took several pictures of them. I zoomed in on a couple of shots including this one.

Lynn Creek empties into the Wakarusa River above Clinton Lake. This photo was taken May 7, 2007. The flooding on that date happened very quickly and almost totally immersed the town of Wakarusa.

Ste Genevieve is on the Missouri River south of St Louis. This picture was taken May 16, 2008 in the old town located along the river. The water was high enough at that time that the ferry that crosses the river at that city was closed due to high water. The highest mark is August 6, 1993, at 49.74.
