Douglas County Fair Barrel Races
Regan Zaremba, 10, of Lawrence, competes in the barrel-racing youth division atop her horse, Zinger, on Friday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Regan won first place in the division. "It's just really fun," she said of the competition. Regan was one of 91 riders competing in the event Friday night. Other horse shows will be today and Sunday at the fairgrounds.
