The 14U Kansas Rebels win the Hawaiian Hitfest AAA/Major Tournament Championship at Blue Valley Recreation Complex in Overland Park. After hitting a double against the Hot Tamales, LGFPA 10u Rebels player Corey May steals 3rd. Their game was played on June 24th at Broken Arrow. The Rebels went on to win 8-4.

Amanda Morris crowned National Champ at the Women's Folkstyle National Championships in Oklahoma City in March.
Sarah Dalager takes third in the nation at the Women's Folkstyle National Tournament in OKC, OK, March 08. Along with her sister Ellen, who was runner-up in her class, and the Morris sisters - Amanda, national champ, and Jeanne, runner-up - these girls helped Team Kansas win the Elementary Division at the national level.
The Eudora Moneymen (10 and under) went undefeated in the regular season (12-0) and completed the season as tournament champions with a final season record of 16-0.
