Fiddling and Picking Championships
The 28th Kansas State Fiddling and Picking Championships took place Sunday, August 24, 2008, in Lawrence's South Park.
Cara Oliphant, 16, Chanute, waits to compete in the Open Fiddle contest at the 28th annual Kansas State Fiddling and Picking Championships Sunday in South Park. Oliphant was holding an extra fiddle for a friend who was also competing.
