The Kansas men's basketball team, the NCAA 2008 national champions, waves to a crowd of more than 25,000 fans Tuesday at Memorial Stadium after returning to Lawrence from San Antonio.

Kansas basketball head coach Bill Self told the 25,000 fans how much he and the team loved their support.
Danny Manning, who was recently inducted to the College Hall of Fame, spoke to the crowd of Jayhawk fans Tuesday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.
Darnell Jackson gave a big hug to Sherron Collins, after Collins thanked Jackson for his team-leading efforts throughout the tournament.
Roderick Stewart, far right, was given a special thanks by the team for his efforts and motivation throughout the season. Stewart suffered a season-ending injury the day before Kansas' Final Four matchup against North Carolina.
