Dan Anderson, whose ceramic sculpture "Purina Chows #3" is pictured here, served as juror for the National Juried Ceramics Exhibition, which opens Friday at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H. Anderson also will be one of seven artists to give a slide lecture and demonstration during the accompanying symposium.
John Balistreri, a ceramics professor at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, is known for his massive sculptural forms, such as "Selection from Vertical Wing Series," which stands 10 feet tall.
