Dan Anderson, whose ceramic sculpture "Purina Chows #3" is pictured here, served as juror for the National Juried Ceramics Exhibition, which opens Friday at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H. Anderson also will be one of seven artists to give a slide lecture and demonstration during the accompanying symposium.
John Balistreri, a ceramics professor at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, is known for his massive sculptural forms, such as "Selection from Vertical Wing Series," which stands 10 feet tall.
Jane Shellenbarger, a ceramist and assistant professor at Northern Michigan University, is among the artists who will be featured at the 2007 National Juried Ceramics Exhibition and Symposium. Pictured here is her 12-inch ceramic "Plate."
