Participants in the Run Lawrence Thanksgiving Day 5K head out from the start. The yearly event drew 435 runners Thursday morning in North Lawrence despite temperatures in the low 20s.

Lawrence's Matt Riley, above, was the top overall finisher in 16:10.6. Baldwin City's Erica Ogle was top overall female in 19:28.2.
