Kenya Children
Students assemble outside Ngurumo Primary School in the summer of 2005. The building in the center has rooms for Standards 4-8. The building on the right has three rooms for the headmaster, teachers and storage. Students get water from the uncovered water tank pictured in the photo, where the water drains off a rusty roof. During the dry seasons, they walk to the river at the bottom of the hill, approximately a mile away.
