The world is introduced to an 11-year old boy with magical powers. Young Harry Potter discovers his fame and true identity and delights adults and children of all ages.
Harry learns more about the mysterious wizard Voldemort who dramatically affected Harry's life. Along with his friend Ronald Weasley, Harry defeats a sinister snake, known as a basilisk, deep within the castle of Hogwarts.

The Triwizard Tournament takes place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry, and an evil plot succeeds in
returning Lord Voldemort to his "human" form. Harry faces him and lives for the third time in the series.
Harry is introduced to the Order of the Phoenix, a group of wizards and witches led by Albus Dumbledore dedicated to fighting Voldemort. A prophecy surfaces explaining Harry's significance and why Voldemort attacked him as a child.
Aided by the Half-Blood Prince, Harry embarks on his sixth year at Hogwarts. In the end, the Prince kills Harry's mentor and friend, Albus Dumbledore, while Harry watches helplessly at his side.
